He looked at the ground again, claws digging deep into the earth. For some reason he doubted parts of Kitas story, but that was his nature these days. "Your assumptions are correct...to a point." He eyed kita as he began to walk away. "The humans numbers have swelled since I was first introduced to their ranks... When first I came there were not even a hundred, now their numbers approach thrice that amount. They spread like a cancer and are unable to live in harmony with Mother Gaia like we and so many others do." He stood up now stretching his legs before inspecting a nearby tomb. "Their city is close to spilling over and they need to expand their territory... they would cut down trees for timber, dam up the lake to make rivers for their convenience." And of course there were the Dancers. While he hadnt sensed their presence here yet it wouldnt be long beofre their taint began to spread into this place. Their corruption did terrible things to the plants and animals, making monsters out of peaceful creatures and turning noble wolves into savage creatures of nightmare. A shiver went up his spine but not from the cold. "I think your hopes ofr a nation of wolves is but a dream...too long have the packs been plauged by enemies from all sides...the Humans, the Dancers, each other. It would take a miracle for any large number to join together for a single cause. Or a very good leader."

Kita sat and smirked" shes right Luna does work in the strangest of ways." Kita sighed and looked to the ground. "so based on what your telling me the most "human" thing to do would be to introduce disease and illness among the masses, to drop their numbers swiftly and sharply. Kitas words dripped with venom and he smiled more. "But thats jsut not my style. So I think our only alternatives are to make our numbers substancialy grow....or to Assimilate into the human society and turn their social and political stand point around if not overtake it compleatly and assimilate them into our society." He looked up to the wolf again. Hope and strong will are all we have at the moment hopefully that will be enough to cause a change in the humans.

Mydnite begain to see doubt in the wolf's body lauguage when Kita spoke. So far she did not like this wolf at all. He was trying to kill the will of the pack and to kill what happiness this little pack had for once since whatever disaster which they came from. Even she was a little happier than what she had been in the past three years. She glared at the wolf creature, "From what i have heard coming out of your month, it sounds as if you want us to just give up and let those humans and the dancers just come and take over this place. I highly doubt that is going to happen. If they do try and over run us, Kita, ill be happy to help you take care of them." she looked at Kita breifly then looked back at the wolf creature. "I personally cant stand humans or the thought of them taking my home. They succeeded in killing my family's pack, but if they do decide to come after this one, i am not going to back down again." She let a deep growl slip out.

He could see that his past experiences were not being the most uplifting thing to discuss after first arriving so he tried his best to change the mood, searching his thoughts for any story or peice of lore that would make Kitas hopes seem more substantial and doable with this ragtag group. "Hmm..." he remembered tales his father had told him when he was young. "You know...ive forgotten what it was like to have faith." He began to pace around now as the memories came back. "For example...my father once told me of a war long ago. Againt the Dancers and the humans they had corrupted into their ranks. All seemed lost for the good clans of old, but even in their darkest hour they never gave up their will to fight or the faith for Mother Gaia and Sister Luna. And their faith was rewarded when the very elements came to life and fought at our side!" He was very animated now, making big sweeping motions of waves crashing against stone and big titans of earth crushing evil beneath its gait. Even some of the tombs and mosaics depicted parts of his story to be true.
"In an instant the battle turned for the good of all decent wolves. Earth and stone forming giants and the fury of a storm made physical!" In truth he would have given anything to be there in person, to have felt the rush of the battle, the awe of the elementals, to be humbled by the power of Gaia and her daughter. He then realized that he was making a scene and quickly returned to his brooding demeanor. "Ahem...my apologies."

He nodded smirking a little to Mydnite. His ears flicked as he listened to the wolf. Kita begain to wonder, what exactly are these spiral Dances this wolf continues to speak of. If the were so prevailant youd think he would at least had heard of them before but event he term was unfamilliar but it was obvious this wolf was from a very different place than the rest of the wolves here maybey he knew them by another name? his curiocity got the best of him. "I dont mean to interupt, I am enjoying our verbal toss around, but I think its time me and my pack returned home weve lingered here long enough." He stood" As for you stranger....I offer you a choice. You can come with us and join the ranks of my pack....or you can return to your home among the humans. He looked around at the rest of his pack, He knew they probably didnt like the idea of him becoming part of the family but if they saw the need for it as much as he did he knew they would accept him...eventually.

she listened intently and watched this stranger move, he was fascinating and she wanted to know what else he knew. she let her mind wander, wondering who these dancers he referred to were and why they should bring down wolves in a war.

Mydnite caught Kita's smirk and returned the gester, but the smile quickly faded as soon as Kita offered this wolf creature a home. Everything that was going threw her mind froze. She did not like the idea, the creature was too quick to act on something not yet discovered. (refering to him ambushing the pack) She hoped the creature would not accept his offer and go back to his 'home' among the humans, but it probably wouldnt be such a great idea for him to be against them if this war he speaks of comes. She decided if he should accept the offer she would keep a close watch on him making sure he doesnt plan on learning our ways then decidig to return the information to 'his people'. She glared at the creature then turned away and started heading back to the woods, not wanting to hear his reply. Just before disappearing into the thick trees she shot a look at Kita hoping he knew what he was offering could cause problems with the pack's safety.

He looked back at the way he came, then at the direction a few were beginning to go. SHould he follow? Or go back to living the life of an outcast, not a real member of either race and unable to make a real choice. "I probably should join you...but I think some of your friends would hold it against the both of us if i did." So the only option that would leave him free of any real burden would be to just leave both sides and just keep going further and further into the world. "You should probably let this decision be made as a pack, and I will do what you as a group feel is right." He crouched onto all fours, body shrinking and slimming until the bulky wolf they first met stood beofre them. "It is the least I could do seeing as I did attack your friends without cause."

He chuckled a little at the thought now." Yes that is true....sounds fair to me" Kita sat up straight raising his head high "Change of plan guys! majority vote yay or nay?" he yelled to make sure everyone heard since Danni was the only one stillw ithin immidiate earshot. He looked back to the stranger waiting for the reply. He stood and streatched.

Mydnite froze when Kita shouted asking for the packs votes. She looked back in the direction of the pack, wondering what the others will vote. She turned around and slowly started to walk back. Her tail was still, head low, and ears lay off to the side. She stopped next to a larger grave stone before looking around at the faces of the current pack members. She was just going to listen to the other's vote then agree with them. She looked at the stranger and continued to stare at him with no expression. what are your intentions she thought to herself as she sat down. Then after a few minutes had passed, Mydnite looked at Kita until Danni and Aithne voted.

Listening to the other two wolves say they wanted him in the pack, Mydnite looked at Kita and lowered her head closing her eyes for a moment to show she was ok with him joining. She then looked back at the newcomer for a short while before turning her back to him, not waiting for him to reply to Danni's request. She began to walk into the woods toward the lake. For some reason she was very thirsty and after she quenched her thirst she would find a place to sleep.

He shyed away from the female somewhat, not used to being so close to another wolf who didnt want to kill him. "Its Crosis..." he said before maneuvering around her. He thought about going back to retrieve his backpack, but figured he could always get a new one and all the items within it didnt hold any sentimental value anyway. "Then i guess im the newest member of your pack Kita...at least until im dead or you find someone better." He said with a wry, toothy smile. This would grow to be an interesting day to say the least.

Kita smiled after Danni spoke. "Well then its unanamous, well come to your new home stranger!" Kita rose up off his haunches and started toward the lake. He paused for moment and looked back."I cant exactly be calling you stranger all the time...you got a name?" He glanced to Danni for a moment and smirked. "Im glad your taking such in intrest in our newest member but Im afraid Im going to have to steal him from you for a minute." He looked back to Crosis and gestured to walk with him.
